This weekend we’ve got a complimentary Card on big FOX. We are finally getting the rematch with Dustin Poirier vs Eddie Alvarez after their first fight ended in a No Contest. These are just two of the most exciting fighters in the UFC and we should see an wonderful fight here. DraftKings has some adequate competitions out for this card and I was amazed to see that a 20k top prize in their principal tournament. That is precisely what I shall be pursuing and I will be making a bunch of LUs to throw into that. Here are a Couple of plays I like for Saturday and my fade of this week:
Money Game play of the week — Stack (Dustin Poirier $8,800 AND Eddie Alvarez $7,400)
This is an easy method to start my cash LU this week and I expect this to be quite well known in all cash game formats. These two were on pace to get a top scoring fight in their first battle and I believe we have an easy 100+ involving the both of them . I think the winner of this fight will score more than 100 points and then we add all the sig strikes and other things from the loser as well. But we guarantee ourselves the triumph. The only way this fight doesn’t score more than a hundred DK points is someone gets kneed in the mind prohibited and the fight is stopped short….
GPP play of the week — Hakeem Dawodu ($9,400)
I think that this matchup was set up to get Dawodu a win. I also think Islam Makhachev, who is $200 more, will be quite highly possessed and this may be a good pivot off him to differentiate your LU a bit. I do think Dawodu will obtain some decent possession as well but I believe he is a good GPP drama this week. I feel the most probable outcome in this struggle is Dawodu getting a (T)KO win. He should pay his off $9.4k salary if this is the situation, particularly if it is early. He’s a really solid striker and we didn’t get to find out that in his UFC debut where he had been angry very early in the fight. This is the best match for him to flaunt his striking and why there was so much hype behind him going into his debut. I think we can see a 1st round KO here and that makes Hakeem Dawodu my GPP drama of this week.
Underdog drama of this week — Ion Cutelaba ($7,600)
The main reason Cutelaba is that my underdog play of this week is because there is no way he isn’t scoring at least 10x if he is able to get the win. He has big power and could find a 1st round KO score and here over 100 DK points. If he does that with his economical salary of $7.6k he will surely be in the winning lineup. This is a good fight to target either side but points per wages shrewd, Cutelaba has one of those ceilings on the card. I don’t see this battle going to conclusion and the winner must score highly. I think if you’re making multiple lineups this weekend you must definitely have exposure to Cutelaba.
Fade of the week — Katlyn Chookagian ($8,700)
I’m fading a few fighters this week personally, but the person I never considered using was Katlyn Chookagian. It is not that I don’t think she can win, since she for sure can. However, I don’t see her paying off an $8.7k DK salary with a win. I believe we would require a complete from her in this struggle to receive 10x that wages and I think that’s quite unlikely to happen. The most Chookagian has ever scored in a UFC fight so far in her profession is 83 DK points. That wouldn’t be enough here to put her at the winning lineup at her 8.7k price label. I think if you’re earning 20 or less lineups that Saturday you may safely fade Chookagian and when she gets a triumph it should not hurt much.
